Early Childhood

I grew up playing football and I was a sprinter in school. But during holidays I used to visit my late grandmother in Nakawa quarters, so I ended up going for tag rugby at Kyadondo. That’s where I got the love of the game because eveytime we went for tag rugby, we were always fed after training. So of course, those free meals made me go back every now and then.

Early Rugby Life

It Started when I played my first tag rugby tournament. It was organized by Kyadondo Rugby grounds (Im not sure if MTN Uganda was the sponsor, but I remember we got so many prizes from MTN Uganda because they were promoting MTN yellow kapyatta. I remember that was my first rugby prize, so whoever asked me where I got the shirt I told them I got it from playing Rugby. I wore that shirt for so many years and I passed to my little brother too (laughs).
